Mr. Chima is our new Business Sales, Retail and Marketing teacher at PHS. He is in charge of our PHS Student Store and teaches Intermediate Marketing and Advance Retail courses.
He attended CSU Stanislaus and got a degree in Social Sciences and an MBA (Masters of Business Administration). Teaching was not his first choice. He was a very successful person in sales. He began to teach in 2008. Mr. Chima spent seven years as a football coach for a 7-level Youth Football Program.
He has explored many areas of the workforce and currently holds three CTE (Career Technical Education) credentials in different sectors: Business and Finance, Marketing and Sales, and Construction.
Mr. Chima loves to spend time with his wife and two children. He loves to play some golf in his free time, and he is a Raiders fan. He always encourages his students and supports them by asking them to challenge themselves to do their best. He would have liked to be in law enforcement but decided to teach instead.
His advice to students is to work for what you love and not because of the money.
